The Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation: This foundation offers education support awards of up to $5,000 to low-income women who are pursuing education or training. Black mothers are eligible to apply.
Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards: These awards provide cash grants to women who are the primary wage earners in their household and are seeking to improve their education or skills. Black mothers are eligible to apply.
Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund: This scholarship provides financial assistance to low-income women who are 35 or older and pursuing a college education. Black mothers are eligible to apply.
The National Black Nurses Association: This organization offers scholarships to black women who are pursuing degrees in nursing or other health-related fields.
The Black Women's Health Imperative: This organization offers scholarships to black women who are pursing degrees in health-related fields.
