Depression is a Silent Killer, Don't Stay Stuck !!
Depression is one of the lead causes of suicide, legal and illegal drug use and divorces. When I was twenty one years old, not long after I left my husband and given birth to our daughter, I began taken prescribed medication to deal with my depression. I wanted my family to work but I just could not stay and withstand the abuse. I experienced mental and physical abuse during the short time that my ex-husband and I were married.
Several months passed and I began having side effects such as shaking and blurred vision. I couldn't continue to take the prescribed medicine because it was causing me more harm than the original reason I needed to take it.
One day I got up and threw the bottle in the trash and said, "That's It!" I haven't needed to take another depression pill since then. Praise and Glory all goes to God!!
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable if anything is excellent and praiseworthy think about such things.
This is an amazing scripture that I like to reflect on now in my life which has a special meaning to me.
Joining a local church, or becoming active in your church and/or community will allow you to become apart of a family. By talking to a trustworthy mentor that is giving you Godly counsel is another way to get you out of your shell. There are many ways, you don't have to be alone in your time of need. Having a solid group of Prayer Warriors behind you is a must in this present time and forever.
Men/women were not meant to be alone so we need each other to help one another get through this journey of life.
Learn to Speak Up and Speak Out !! We are sometimes ashamed of our weaknesses and mistakes but in the Word of God: Acts 2:38
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
We all mess up but turn away from it. My message to you is Don't Stay Stuck !!
